Warmth for Winter: Blanket & Woollen Donation Camp | Jhargram
Our Latest Program
This social service initiative focuses on empowering underserved communities through three integrated efforts: ration distribution, hygiene support, and educational aid. By providing essential food supplies to vulnerable women—especially widows, single mothers, and the elderly—the project aims to enhance food security and basic well-being. Parallelly, the distribution of hygienic products such as sanitary pads, soap, and toothpaste addresses critical health and dignity issues, particularly among adolescent girls and women. Incorporating brief awareness sessions on menstrual hygiene and personal care can significantly boost the impact of this effort. To support children’s education, the initiative also includes the distribution of age-appropriate school supplies like notebooks, stationery, and bags. This helps reduce dropout rates and encourages continued learning in low-income families. Coordinating with schools, local leaders, and health organizations ensures better targeting, reach, and community involvement. Consistent record-keeping, feedback collection, and transparent processes will strengthen credibility and allow the initiative to scale effectively. Together, these three efforts create a holistic support system addressing immediate needs while fostering long-term empowerment through health, education, and dignity.
Blanket Distribution in Ayodhya
Our charitable trust was recently featured in a local Bengali newspaper for its winter relief efforts in Ayodhya, Purulia, WB.
The article highlights the distribution of warm blankets to over 110 tribal families in the Sonahara village of Ayodhya. The initiative was led by our secretery Mrs. Sutapa Basu under our ongoing campaign to support underprivileged tribal communities during harsh winters.
The image shows our dedicated member personally handing over a blanket to an elderly tribal woman, reflecting our trust’s commitment to grassroots service and humanitarian outreach.

The emblem signifies that the Trust shall work to attain the objects of the Trust as enshrined in the Trust Deed and shall be an umbrella to the people in need. The umbrella has 24 spokes signifying that the trust shall incessantly work for all the 24 hours of a day. The full bloomed lotus tells us to serve the people with sweetness in thought, speech and action. The lotus is above the water surface. It carries the message to the people that the Trust stands by their side to make them float even in a sinking condition. Beneath the lotus is written in Bengali script the famous lines of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore “aamraa milechhi aaj maayer daake”, the meaning of which in English is “We assembled hereby the mother’s call” signifying that the Trust is an effort of the Children of the Holy Mother Sarada, the divine consort of Bhagavan Ramakrishna. Her children assembled here to serve the people as she herself served the people by her own hands tirelessly and selflessly irrespective of cast, creed and religion till her last breath. The emblem has been designed by the noted artist Sri Pritam Kanjilal, who was a student of the famous Calcutta Art College.
The Trust applied for the Permanent Account Number (PAN) to the Income Tax Department, Government of India and the PAN card bearing number ABFTS3024A was received on 29th November 2022
