Projects Accomplished –Year 2022 and 2023 .. Cont.

Project Name: Anandadhara

The objective of Anandadhara project by Saradayan Charitable Trust has been to support and hold the hands of senior citizen women (aged above 65 years) who are suffering from loneliness during the end period of their life. The Trust tries to overcome their problems by arranging day long events, meditation programs, tours, devotional songs and talks, etc. This is an ongoing project for the Trust and throughout the year the Trust arranges for specific programmes on specific days as part of this project.

Project Activities:

• On 9th July 2022, the Trust organized a whole day programmee including breakfast and lunch along with 13+ senior citizen women at Gobordanga Sri Ramkrishna Sarada Sevashram. The Trust donated Rs.4000 cash to the ashram & also donated devotional items to the ashram.
• On 7th Jan 2023, another all day tour for 20+ senior citizen women was arranged, this time the Trust went to the Belari Sri Ramkrishna Ashram & Andul Rajbari & other historical places in the district of Howrah. Rs.9000 was donated for ashram’s benevolent workers, fruits & sweets were donated on the account of “Devseva”. The trust also arranged for breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner on the same day.
• On 12th Feb 2023, a whole day programme named “Amrita Manthan” was arranged at Michael Nagar with the Saradayan Charitable Trust  members & other guests. The day was spent on “Kathamrita Path” competition, quiz contest on Divyatrayee with Saparshad, Ramkrishna Math & Mission followed by Antakhshari. Finally, prizes were distributed to the winning contestants.

• From 19th May 2025, we have started to provide ration among the BPL women.

  • On 24th May 2025, we have provided class xi all science books , copies and pens among the students

Project Name: Taruchaaya

Through this project, Saradayan Charitable Trust helps the poor, orphan but brilliant students in their studies. Like Anandadhara project, Taruchaaya is also an ongoing project for the Trust and throughout the year the Trust arranges for specific programmes on specific days as part of this project.

Project Activities:

• On 9th July 2022, the Trust Donated copies, pens, pencils, biscuits , eggs and chocolates to 50 orphan boys. This was done along with the same Anandadhara programme that was organized at Gobordanga Sri Ramkrishna Sevashram.
• On 4th Sept 2022, the Trust again donated educational items and tiffin to 73 students at Palta “Subhecha” organization.
• On 6th March 2023, the Trust distributed text books and copies to 11 students from class 6 to 9; geometry box, copies & pens to 31 students of class 6. This was done at Nabajiban colony Makhshada Sundari Balika Vidhyalaya school.
• From June 2023 onwards, every month the Trust distributes health and hygiene products to 90+ students from classes 7 till 10 in the same school.
• On 16th July 2023, 3 students were granted textbooks from Nabajiban Girls and Nabajiban Boys school.

• On 7th March 2025, We had provided educational items &lunch among 60+students. Not only that we also had provided 6 months health & hygiene items among 30+teen age girls.

 

Project Name: Saradasish

Through Saradasish project, Saradayan Charitable Trust helps poor women by donating sarees to them. This also is an ongoing project for the Trust and throughout the year the Trust arranges for specific programmes on specific days as part of this project.

Project Activities:

• On 4th Sept 2022, the first programme was held at the Dakshineshwar ferry ghat slum area, where sarees were distributed among 30+ poor women in the slum.
• On 11th March 2023, the Trust again donated sarees to 25 poor women, this time at Panahar & Joyrambati near the Matrimandir in the district of Bankura.

Upcoming Projects of Saradayan

Through this project Saradayan aims to provide free coaching center for brilliant but poor students from class V to X.

Through this project Saradayan aims to establish free vocational training center for BPL girls.

This will be Saradayan’s flagship and innovative project where the objective will be to utilize Biogas as fuel among village people.

This is an IT project for Saradayan where the aim is to provide an app to help the poor sellers who sells handicraft items/handmade sustainable items. The app aims to serve as a market place for buyers and sellers to sell sustainable products to the end buyers. The Trust believes that through this app, poor sellers will be able to find buyers as another business channel to earn their livelihood.
