🌺 A Different Way of Worshipping the Divine Mother 🌺

“Serving Humanity as Shiva”
As we do every year, Saradayan Charitable Trust is once again coming forward this year with a different and meaningful form of worship on the sacred occasion of Mahalaya.
This year, we have undertaken an initiative to distribute new sarees to more than 200 underprivileged mothers in four remote villages under Jamboni Police Station, Jhargram.
For the past year, Saradayan has been carrying out various charitable activities in different remote areas of Jhargram. The hardship faced by the people in these villages is difficult to describe in words unless one has witnessed it personally.
Many families do not have a proper roof over their heads, adequate clothing to wear, or even enough food for a full meal. Malnutrition and lack of access to education have made their lives even more difficult.
While speaking with the villagers, we came to know that wild mushrooms collected from the forest—locally referred to as “Chhatu”—are also an important source of food for many of them.
Their struggle for survival is truly heartbreaking.
This year, Saradayan has therefore taken the initiative to bring a little happiness into the lives of these mothers by providing new sarees to more than 200 women across four villages.
Inspired by the ideals of Sri Sri Thakur, we believe in the spirit of:
“Shiv Jnane Jiva Seva” — Serving every living being as Shiva.
Worshipping the Divine Mother is not limited to flowers, fruits, incense and rituals.
Bringing a smile to the face of a helpless mother can also be one of the noblest forms of worship.
Every year, most of us buy new clothes for ourselves and our families. If, from that happiness, we can save just ₹300/- and contribute towards buying a saree for an underprivileged mother, our small sacrifice can bring immense joy to someone who has very little.
🌸 With just ₹300/-, you can become a part of bringing a smile to a mother’s face.
So, let us come forward together.
Let our small contribution reach those mothers whose lives offer them very few opportunities for happiness.
This Mahalaya, let us worship the Divine Mother in a different way.
May bringing a smile to the faces of helpless mothers become our noblest form of worship this year. 🙏🌺
